just a few lovely comments from people recently.
I started dancing in 1997 with the aim to dance a choreographed routine at my wedding in May of the same year and I did it!! In 2002, I was asked to oversee the teaching of a class in Otley, West Yorkshire. Following on from this, I took my exams with British Western Dance Association 2000 and passed to level 3 with distinction. In July 2005, I was invited to provide taster sessions at the Knaresborough FEVA (festival of entertainment and visual arts) and in November of the same year, Cath's Kickers was born. I have been teaching in Knaresborough ever since.
I only discovered zumba early on in 2010 in an article in a magazine but didn't really do anything about it initially, just read the article with interest. Classes were advertised in my local area and I attended 3 classes and was hooked and thought "I want to do that!!" I attended an intensive one day course in July 2010 and held taster sessions locally in September and started regular classes at the end of September 2010. In March 2011, I undertook my zumba Gold course and in June 2011, I undertook my zumba basics 2 course covering flamenco, tango, samba and belly dancing - slowly weaving their way into classes. In July 2011, I undertook my zumba toning course and this will be added to my ever increasing schedule very soon!!!
